Birds of Paradise
Print design
This bikini print collection is inspired by the Bird of Paradise flower, also known as the crane flower, an exotic bloom known for its vibrant presence. Beyond its natural beauty, the flower holds a deeply personal meaning, symbolizing childhood memories spent in my grandmother’s garden, where it was affectionately called the “little bird flower.” These moments of playing with my cousins create a sense of tenderness, nostalgia, and emotional connection that shapes the essence of the design.
The print translates these memories into soft yet vibrant visual patterns, combining organic floral shapes with fluid, playful compositions. Designed for swimwear, the motifs capture a balance between delicacy and energy, reflecting both the exotic character of the flower and the warmth of personal memory.
